Summary of Changes from Previous Version

28/09/2022: Position name changed from Chief Digital Officer and Chief Information Security Officer (CDO & CISO) to Chief Information and Digital Officer (CIDO)

28 April 2022 – System Administrator Fix – inserted hyperlink to text in clause (185)f.

In response to a desktop audit conducted by the NSW Privacy Commissioner in late 2021, the University has completed this revision of its Privacy Management Plan (PMP) although the Plan does not yet take into account mandatory breach reporting in NSW, as the Privacy and Personal Information Protection Amendment Bill is still pending. This revised PMP makes reference to foreign privacy legislation and includes improvements in terminology to ensure the document's longevity. In response to another of the desktop audit's findings, this PMP is now a DDS (web based) document rather than a static PDF. This will ensure that legislative and organisational references are up to date and will provide evidence to the IPC that the University is reviewing the Plan regularly.
