Summary of Changes from Previous Version

23 June 2014 - Change the title for the Deputy Vice-Chancellor Corporate Strategy and Services to Deputy Vice-Chancellor as per Board resolution - Meeting 2014/1.
15 February 2012 - policy has been updated to reflect the new leadership and management structure effective 1 January 2012. Almost all of the existing policy has been changed in this version. This version establishes an Information Security Steering Committee, which will develop and manage an Information Security Management System (ISMS) to address information risk evaluation and management. The ISMS will be based on relevant Australian and international standards. The policy focus has been shifted from addressing the security of IT systems to the security of information systems as a whole - whether IT based or not.
