30 November 2020 – the document has been amended to reflect the renamed position title Executive Director, Human Resources to Chief People Officer.


19 December 2016 - Policy amended to reflect unit title change of the "Office of Organisational Development" to "Talent and Leadership Development".

21 November 2016 - Policy amended to reflect unit and position title change - Office of People and Culture to Office of Human Resources and Executive Director, Human Resources and Organisational Development to Executive Director, Human Resources.

8 July 2016 - policy amended to reflect the official name change of the University concurrent with the change to the University's Act and By-Law.

26 February 2016 - Amended clauses 33,35, and 55 to remove redundant position titles, Director, HR Strategy and Services and Director, Organisational Development and replace with Executive Director, Human Resources and Organisational Development.

10 February 2015 - Amended policy to reflect change of position title from 'Vice-Chancellor' to 'Vice-Chancellor and President'.

The policy has been revised and updated to provide clearer statements of eligibility and requirements; simplification and removal of duplication; correction of names of units and terms; increase in Education Support Allowance; inclusion of merit relative to opportunity principle; reduction in the number of total clauses from 66 to 59.
