Summary of Changes from Previous Version

An EAP, or employee assistance program, is a confidential, short term, counselling service for staff (and other eligible persons) with personal difficulties that may affect their work performance.

The previous document “Employee Assistance Program (EAP) Policy,” has been replaced by EAP Procedure. This procedure is aligned to Western Sydney Universities Health Safety and Wellbeing Policy in that it promotes EAP as one of the preventative programs to address psycho-social hazards.
