Summary of Changes from Previous Version

21/02/2023: Position name changed from Chief Information and Digital Officer (CIDO) to Chief Information and Digital Officer - duplicate (CIDO)

28/09/2022: Position name changed from Chief Digital Officer and Chief Information Security Officer (CDO & CISO) to Chief Information and Digital Officer (CIDO)


4 March 2022 - Update all references to position ‘Chief Information and Digital Officer’ with renamed title ‘Chief Digital Officer and Chief Information Security Officer’.


22 February 2022 – Updated all references and links to the repealed ‘Higher Education Standards Framework (Threshold Standards) 2015’ with the ‘Higher Education Standards   Framework (Thresholds Standards) 2021’.


10 May 2021 – System Administrator Fix – updated placeholders for Board of Trustees and Board Executive Committee from Division-based record to Committee-based record.


15 April 2021 – Clause 1 – fixed typographical error – include the word “University” that was omitted in the second sentence.


26 March 2021 – Fix – removed erroneous forced line breaks.


The changes to the Policy include: • a change to the title as driven by the changes made to the Digital Services Implementation Policy; • clarification about what systems and/or data former staff and students can access; and • clarification around how Service Desk personnel can assist users when requested.
